The Sadie Fund We set up the Sadie Fund in early 2009 in order to raise money for various local (Baltimore-area) animal rescue organizations and shelters, including the Maryland SPCA and Last Chance Animal Rescue. While the profits generated by the fund are in no way limited to disbursement between those two organizations, we owe them both a debt of gratitude for granting us the opportunity to meet and fall in love with our two cats, Oliver and Sadie.

Sadly, Sadie passed away in December of 2008 at the age of three due to complications arising from an unknown heart condition. The Sadie Fund represents our best, sincerest attempt to ensure that as many animals as possible can be cared for temporarily by these organizations and others like them until they can find a safe and loving forever-home.

5% of all net profit generated by the sale of Ex-Boyfriend products goes directly to the upkeep and continued operation of these valuable institutions. In addition to fundraising, my wife and I are also active SPCA volunteers. You can read about our adventures with fostering SPCA animals here.
