Thirsty Thursday: Flaming Waterfalls & My New Favorite Bar
A “new” bar opened up in my ‘hood about two years ago, and I finally got around to checking it out a few weeks ago. It’s unfortunate that it took me so long, because it’s actually quite awesome. It’s called Bad Decisions, and I’d lay money down that it’s the best cocktail bar in Baltimore.
My wife and I took my cousin Dave and our friend Tony there last week and were introduced to this wonderful little concoction:

It’s called a Flaming Waterfall, but it totally looks like a TRON-cocktail, no? It’s pretty awesome, because it combines a few of my favorite things: booze, fire, and the color blue.
I have to be honest, I can’t remember everything that went into it (there was some drinking involved, naturally); this recipe calls for rum and Tuaca citrus liqueur, but I’m pretty sure the one John uses at Bad Decisions involved rum and Sambuca. In any event, you should really stop in if you’re ever in Baltimore. Just tell them what spirit you’re in the mood for, if you like your drinks sweet or dry, and let them work their magic. It’s pretty astonishing.
What are some of your favorite watering holes?

Nonetheless, this post on Babble caught my eye the other day because it combines two fun things: booze and fire. (You know how I enjoy booze + fire.) [...]
