The cute face above belongs to a red panda. This solitary cutie likes to hang out in Asia (mostly in China, Myanmar and Nepal), where he munches on bamboo and worries about becoming extinct.
During the month of September, Ex-Boyfriend is donating 20% of the proceeds from the sale of Red Menance products to the Red Panda Network, a non-profit with a focus on red panda conservation.
If you want to help out these critters, order a Red Menace tee, tote, hoodie, messenger bag or key chain. You can also just make a donation directly to the Red Panda Network.
The MD SPCA’s March for the Animals was yesterday. I am pleased to report that I was able to raise $1,310.00 for them this year. A big thanks to my friends, family and Ex-Boyfriend customers who made donations, spread the word about this fundraiser and purchased bottle openers to support the cause. Below are a few pictures of some of the cute critters that came out for the event.
The party was pretty dog-centric, but I guess kitties aren’t known for getting out and about. That said, some critters just love to defy the norm. Thus, I love this story about Kitty. She’s on a 3 year hike with her humans across the Americas. She spends her days chilling under an umbrella attached to her human’s back pack. Adorable! This is one well-traveled kitty.
Every year the MD SPCA has a March for the Animals to help raise funds for its animal rescue efforts. Although they are a Maryland area charity, they lend aid to rescues all around, taking in rescues from neighboring states and sometimes even further afield. If you hang around here often, you know animal charities are a cause near and dear to my heart and that we donate a portion of the profits from this website to those causes.
